It's almost that time to get the Christmas decorations down from the loft or wherever else you have to stash them, do you tend to stick to a theme or is it an anything goes situation?...
In under 2 weeks it'll be the 1st of December, I'm not quite sure where 2021 went! So will you be raring to go the moment we enter into December or are you more traditional and wait for the twelfth night, or perhaps you're not really into Christmas at all but just like to have a nice festive feast with friends, however you spend the holidays this year, I hope it's perfect for you.
As celebrations were somewhat altered last year, it seems most of us want to make up for last years minimal celebrations. Still if you're trying to be sustainable you might not want to rush out and buy a whole load of new decorations? Don't worry I've scoured online retailers to find you some of the most wonderful decorations for your home this year.
My ethos to slow living is to gather things over time, re-use and keep in mind the overall style of your home, that way you won't make any impulse purchases you might later regret. Here are some suggestions to make your home wonderful, following a restricted but tasteful colour palette and a theme of roaring twenties, an opulent but timeless style that won't ever date. Of course I also like to support small businesses too, and for gifts that's definitely what I try and do, but for décor items sometimes the high street has some excellent choices!

So I hope you'll find this edit useful, and remember buy wisely but invest in pieces you know you'll love time and time again! Happy festive decorating.
